Edge Of Space

The "Edge Of Space" is an elegant table knife with a shape that is both modern and incisive with its facets and its plunging blade and timeless with its slender and curved handle.

It is available as both a fixed knife and a folding knife.

I designed it as a knife that would be given to all newly graduated space explorer astronauts. Both as a symbol of the ancient tools that could save a life on an exploration mission and as an example of human craftsmanship.
