The Sciotot is now available as an oyster knife. It is handcrafted.
Its blade, made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, is hand-forged. Unlike the majority of my blades, this one has a smooth appearance (not "brute de forge").
ts handle is made of Wenge and features a laser engraving of "Le Sciotot" filled with pearlescent Epoxy resin. The back of the handle also features a Birch insert.
Its shape is reminiscent of a surfboard, a tribute to Sciotot beach in the northern Cotentin Peninsula.
