The Sciotot is now available as an oyster knife. It is handcrafted.
Its blade, made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, is hand-forged. Its handle is made of Padouk african wood. It is glued/riveted and features a laser engraving of "Le Sciotot" filled with white epoxy resin.
Its shape is reminiscent of a surfboard, a tribute to Sciotot beach in the northern Cotentin Peninsula.
